Taba is an Egyptian town near the
northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba. Taba is the location of Egypt's
busiest border crossing with neighboring Eilat, Israel. Taba was
originally developed as a tourist destination by the Israelis with the
first hotel opening there in the 1960s, and today it is a frequent
vacation spot for Egyptians and other tourists, especially those from
Israel on their way to other destinations in Egypt or as a weekend
getaway. It is the northernmost resort of Egypt's Red Sea Riviera.

Saladin's Citadel
It is located at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba in the middle of an atoll. It is the second diving area in Sinai after Ras Muhammad. The castle is 250 m from the Sinai shore, 10 km from the port of Aqaba.
Pharaoh's Island has been called by several names, including Coral Island, Gray Island, and the people of Sinai call it three names: "The Castle - Al-Qalaa - Al-Qarya", its area is 325 m from north to south, 60 m from east to west.
